28 years ago I began teaching. As a teacher I especially appreciate that no two days are ever the same and having the opportunity to support students in their own learning journey. I enjoy trying new things, traveling, photography, reading, spending time with my family, and eating icecream!

I attended Appalachian State University in North Carolina and received my teaching credential at University of San Francisco. I received my Reading Recovery Certification at St. Mary’s College and my Reading Specialist certification at University of California, Berkeley.
