Entering and Exiting School

Arrival Time

The gates will be opened at 7:45 a.m.  Staff will supervise as the students proceed to the playground. Staff will be on the yard to supervise students gathering on the playground. Outside equipment (balls, jump ropes, etc…) are not allowed before school. Students may not use the play structures before school. Please be sure that your student does NOT arrive before 7:45 a.m. unless participating in the breakfast program. Students wishing to participate in the breakfast program should report to the cafeteria between 7:35 and 7:50 a.m.

Entering and Exiting the School

Students are to enter and leave the school through the gate near the Multi-Purpose Room or Ricardo Avenue.  Kindergarten students enter through the Kindergarten playground gate. When entering or leaving, students are to walk on the concrete pathway.  On rainy days, all students will enter through the same gate but go directly to their classrooms.  

Bike riders should walk their bicycles across the playground to the bike rack, located adjacent to the Music Room.  All bikes must be secured with a lock at the bike rack and helmets must be worn at all times when riding to and from school.

The Staff Parking Lot is not available to drop off or pick up students. This area is off limits to children, primarily due to safety concerns. Please help your child be safe by not using the parking lot to load/unload students. Only parents with handicapped placards will be allowed in the parking lot pending available parking spaces.
